Performance and Modelling Engineer

We are looking for an innovative, high-calibre Performance Modelling Engineer, with a strong understanding of Internal Combustion Engine (ICE)-based propulsion and power systems, and particularly their simulation and modelling at a system level.

You Will

  • Contribute to company objectives and programmes with the creation of system and subsystem models
  • Delivery of performance data internally and externally (data sets, engine decks, etc.) in a timely manner to aid system and subsystem design decisions
  • Supporting the maintenance and development of simulation and modelling capabilities within the company, including both steady state and transient analysis tools.

Aerothermal Engineer
MECHANICAL & RIG ENGINEER

We are looking to identify a creative and skilled aerothermal engineer to join our technical team.

This position would best suit a high calibre individual, with a strong understanding of thermal management systems and reacting flows, with particular emphasis on combustion phenomena.

You Will

  • Provide expert aerothermal support for company development, demonstration, and product programmes
  • Lead specification, development, and test, of novel reacting flow systems and combustion technology on in-house and contracted test rigs, and demonstrator systems
  • Perform CFD simulations of high-temperature and/or reacting/combusting flows, translating results to explain system behaviour and provide performance estimates.

We are looking to identify a highly skilled mechanical engineer, for the position of Mechanical & Rig Engineer, to join our technical engineering team.

 

You Will

  • Lead and coordinate the design, development, and delivery of all technology development rig programmes
  • Drive manufacturing, assembly and integration of company hardware and systems
  • Be involved in wider product development, demonstrator and BD programmes as needed

Thermomechanical Engineer

Working in a critical role within a high performing team, the Systems and Development Engineer will play a significant part in the engineering / design of the technology, building the team as the company develops.

You Will

  • Drive development of demonstrator programmes, including system requirements, architectures, development and test plans
  • Work across the company’s programmes in a systems and development context, and ensuring demonstrators planned are poised to make the most of other development work within the company
  • Prepare, present, and report technical work to partners, customers, and other external parties
